Invisalign Before and After

Invisalign

As an alternative to train-track braces, Invisalign moves teeth discreetly, conveniently and efficiently.

Unlike braces, Invisalign can be removed when eating and taking photos, meaning less time worrying about food stuck around your braces, and more time catching your best angles.

The
Process

01

Take photos, x-rays, scans and measurements.

02

Clincheck: create a blueprint of the plan to move the teeth, from start to finish.

03

Attach white buttons, create space, fit the first aligners.

04

Review appointments every 8-12 weeks to ensure everything is going as planned.

05

Debond white buttons, make retainers, and complete Invisalign after 6-9 months*.

*Invisalign treatment usually takes between 6-9 to complete but in some cases can take more or less time.

Benefits

Patients who have completed Invisalign describe rebuilt confidence in speaking and smiling.

But the benefits of Invisalign go far beyond just aesthetics:

As teeth are better aligned, its easier to clean them to maintain excellent oral hygiene.

Better oral hygiene results in fewer cavities, better gum health, and improved breath.

Teeth positioned correctly around each other means that they're all along the same "curve".

This reduces the risk of trauma (injury) to a tooth through accidental falls or sports injuries which can lead to nerve death or loss of teeth.

Straighter teeth that meet at their preferred angulation results in less tooth wear.

This means less chipped and worn edges over time, avoiding complex and costly tooth-wear rehabilitation treatments.

A better bite relationship between your upper and lower teeth results in better positioning of your upper and lower jaw.

An improved bite results in more balanced forces on the back and front teeth, reducing the risk of wear and fractures which can occur as a result of a "heavy bite".
