privacy policy
Last updated 27/10/2026. Version 1.5.
1. Who is responsible for your data
SA Dentistry Services Ltd (company number 17327280) is the controller of your personal data. Registered office: 128 City Road, London, United Kingdom, EC1V 2NX. Contact us about anything in this policy at info@syed.dentist.
2. What we collect
When you book a call
- Your name and email address
- When you qualified and how you currently work
- The option you're interested in, and anything you tell us about what you want help with
- Your Instagram handle, if you give it
- The version of the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy you agreed to, and when
- Whether you'd like occasional email updates
- The time you choose for your call, whether you book it on our Google Calendar booking page or with the booking tool on this website (which stores it with your details in Supabase)
- A scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address and email address, kept for up to 2 days to stop the booking form being misused
If you join the mentorship
- Payment records (we don't store full card details ourselves)
- Messages, files and notes you share on WhatsApp, by email or on calls, and our own notes from calls
- Your pairing and attendance
Patient information
We ask you not to send us information that could identify a patient (see section 5 of the Terms). If you do, we'll ask you to remove it and delete our copy where we can.
3. Why we use it, and our lawful basis
| Purpose | Lawful basis |
|---|---|
| Arranging and holding your call, and deciding together whether the mentorship is right for you | Steps you've asked us to take before entering a contract |
| Providing the mentorship, pairing you, taking payment and keeping records | Performing our contract with you |
| Keeping a record of the terms you agreed to, handling complaints and defending claims | Our legitimate interests |
| Keeping accounting and tax records | Legal obligation |
| Sending occasional updates about the mentorship | Your consent, which you can withdraw at any time |
| Using your name, quotes or clips publicly | Your consent, asked for separately |
4. Who we share it with
We don't sell your data. We use these providers to run the service:
- Supabase, which stores booking details in the UK (London)
- Vercel, which hosts this website
- Google Calendar, which runs our booking page or, if you book on this website, receives your email address and call time (not your name) to send your call invitation with a Google Meet link
- Resend, if we use it instead of Google Workspace to email ourselves those notifications
- Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks the booking form is being used by a person, using information about your browser and connection. Booking a time on this website is only possible with this check
- Google Workspace, for email (including the notifications we email ourselves when you request, book or change a call) and video calls
- WhatsApp (Meta), for messaging during the mentorship
- Our payment provider, to take monthly payments
- Our accountants, for bookkeeping and tax
Your pair or group will see what you choose to share on calls and in group chats. We may also share data if the law requires it.
Some providers may process data outside the UK, for example in the US. Where they do, they use safeguards approved under UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
5. Cookies
This website doesn't set tracking or advertising cookies. If you choose your call time on a Google Calendar booking page, that page may use cookies needed to make the booking work, covered by Google's own privacy policy.
6. How long we keep it
- If you request or book a call and it goes no further (we haven't followed up with you about joining and haven't added notes): deleted automatically 12 months after the call, or 12 months after your request if no call took place. If we have followed up or added notes, we keep it until it's no longer needed and then delete it.
- If you join: for the length of the mentorship and six years after it ends, so we can deal with any queries or claims and meet tax rules.
- Email updates: until you unsubscribe.
7. Your rights
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to how we use it, or receive a copy to move elsewhere. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Email info@syed.dentist and we'll respond within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113, although we'd appreciate the chance to sort it out first.
8. Changes
We'll update this policy if how we use data changes. The version and date are shown at the top of this page.
