terms of service
Last updated 27/10/2026. Version 1.5.
1. Who we are
The mentorship is provided by SA Dentistry Services Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17327280), with its registered office at 128 City Road, London, United Kingdom, EC1V 2NX. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean SA Dentistry Services Ltd. "You" means the person booking a call or taking part in the mentorship.
Mentoring is delivered by Dr Syed Ali, a dentist registered with the General Dental Council (GDC number 289983).
2. Agreeing to these terms
You accept these terms, and confirm you have read the Privacy Policy, when you tick the box on the booking form. We keep a record of the version you agreed to and when. If you go on to join the mentorship, these terms form the agreement between you and us, together with anything we confirm to you in writing about your start date and option.
Booking a call does not commit you to joining. You only join once you confirm you want to start and make your first payment.
3. What the mentorship includes
- A weekly video call, either in a pair (or temporarily a small group) or one-to-one, depending on your option.
- WhatsApp access while your mentorship is active, so you can send questions, anonymised case details and documents when they come up.
- Discussion of your own cases, treatment planning, clinical decision-making, communicating with patients, presenting treatment and costs, courses and moving into private work.
- General guidance, frameworks and examples to help you build your own way of working.
4. What the mentorship does not include
Please read this section carefully. The mentorship is not:
- Clinical supervision or clinical responsibility. We never examine, diagnose or treat your patients and we do not form a clinical relationship with them. You remain solely and fully responsible for every clinical decision, diagnosis, treatment, referral, consent and record you make, and for meeting the GDC's Standards for the Dental Team and any other rules that apply to you.
- Hands-on or practical clinical training. We don't teach procedures on patients or models.
- Verifiable CPD. Unless we say otherwise in writing, the mentorship is not a verifiable CPD activity and no CPD certificate is issued.
- Legal, financial, tax, employment or regulatory advice. We don't review, advise on or negotiate employment, associate or practice contracts, and we don't give advice on pay, tax or regulatory matters. For these, please take advice from a solicitor, accountant, the BDA, your indemnity provider or another qualified professional.
- An emergency or out-of-hours service. WhatsApp access means you can message at any time, not that you will get an immediate reply. We aim to reply within a reasonable time, but we don't guarantee response times. For anything urgent about a patient, follow your practice's procedures and contact your indemnity provider.
- A guarantee of results. We don't promise any particular outcome, including treatment acceptance, income, job offers or career progress. Results depend on you, your patients and your setting.
- A job, placement or referral arrangement. Joining doesn't give you a position at any practice, and we don't pay or receive fees for referring patients.
Any clinical views shared during the mentorship are for discussion and education. They are based only on the information you give us and are not a substitute for your own examination and professional judgement.
5. Patient confidentiality
- You must not share information that could identify a patient, such as names, dates of birth, addresses, NHS numbers or full-face photos, unless the patient has given valid consent for it to be shared for this purpose.
- Anonymise radiographs, photos, notes and treatment plans before you send them. You are responsible for having the right permissions for anything you share, in line with UK data protection law and your GDC obligations.
- You remain the person responsible for your patients' records and data.
- Anything another mentee shares, including their cases, is confidential. Don't screenshot, forward or discuss it outside the mentorship.
6. Options and pairing
In a pair
You are matched with another mentee at a similar stage, or you can pair up with someone you already know if they have signed up too. If there isn't a suitable match when you start, or your partner leaves, you may temporarily have one-to-one calls or join a group of three until a suitable person is matched with you. Your price stays the same during this time. We decide on matches, taking your preferences into account.
One-to-one
Your weekly calls are with your mentor only.
You can switch option from the start of your next month by telling us before it begins.
7. Fees and payment
| Option | Price |
|---|---|
| In a pair | £200 per month, per person |
| One-to-one | £400 per month |
- Fees are paid monthly in advance, by the payment method we agree with you, before each month starts.
- The prices shown are the total you pay. If VAT ever becomes payable, we'll tell you before it applies.
- Any weekly or daily figures on the website are the monthly price spread across a year, to help compare value. You are billed monthly, not weekly or daily.
- If a payment is late, we may pause your calls and WhatsApp access until it's paid.
- We may change our prices for future months by giving you at least 30 days' notice. You can cancel before the new price applies.
8. Length of the mentorship and cancelling
- The mentorship runs month by month. It is designed to last three to six months, with the aim that you no longer need it by the end, but you can continue for as long as both of us agree.
- You can cancel at any time by email or WhatsApp. Your mentorship ends at the end of the month you have already paid for, and you won't be charged again. We don't refund part months, except where the law says we must or section 9 applies.
- We can end the mentorship by giving you notice before your next month starts. If we end it during a month you've paid for, for a reason other than your breach of these terms, we'll refund the unused part.
- We can end the mentorship straight away if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, including the confidentiality rules in section 5 or the conduct rules in section 11.
- When your mentorship ends, your direct WhatsApp access ends. You may be invited to a group chat with current and past mentees. That group is offered at our discretion, is free, and may be changed or closed at any time.
9. Your 14-day right to cancel
If you are buying as a consumer, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of joining without giving a reason. If you ask us to start the mentorship within those 14 days and then cancel, we'll refund what you've paid minus a proportionate amount for the mentorship provided up to the point you told us. To cancel, email info@syed.dentist with your name and that you wish to cancel. We'll refund you within 14 days, using the same payment method.
10. Calls, rescheduling and missed sessions
- Calls take place by video at a regular time agreed with you (and your pair).
- If we need to move a call, we'll offer another time in the same or the following week.
- If you miss a call or cancel at short notice, we'll try to rearrange, but we can't always, and missed calls aren't refunded. In a pair, the call goes ahead if your partner can attend.
- Let us know about holidays in advance so calls can be planned around them.
11. Conduct
We expect everyone in the mentorship to be respectful and professional, with us and with other mentees. Harassment, discrimination or sharing other people's information without permission isn't accepted.
12. Recordings, materials and testimonials
- Calls are only recorded if everyone on the call agrees beforehand.
- We will only use clips, quotes or your name publicly, for example on Instagram or this website, with your separate permission, which you can withdraw for future use at any time.
- Frameworks, templates and materials we share are for your own professional use. Please don't resell or publish them. Your own cases and materials remain yours.
13. Our responsibility to you
- We will provide the mentorship with reasonable care and skill.
- Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law. If you are a consumer, your legal rights are not affected.
- Because you remain responsible for your clinical work and professional decisions (section 4), we are not responsible for losses arising from treatment you provide, decisions you make or advice you choose to follow.
- We are not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable losses, or for loss of income, earnings or business opportunity.
- Otherwise, our total liability to you in connection with the mentorship is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.
- We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change affects an active mentorship, we'll tell you at least 30 days before it applies, and you can cancel before then. The version and date are shown at the top of this page.
15. Complaints and the law
If you're unhappy with anything, please email info@syed.dentist so we can try to put it right. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, although if you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
